Lessons of "Internet Applications" prepared by LukaszT from Poland

My professional lesson is called "Internet Applications". We have 6 hours of it in a week. On this lesson we are writing web sites in a special language called HTML (HyperText Markup Language). We also use other lanuages for example PHP and Java Script to make our sites better. Every semester we must show to our teacher a new web site or what we added to our old site. We can use CMS (Content Management System) to make web sites. It's used to generate site and then to create, edit and publish articles easy. We can write web sites in html editors for example Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage but mostly we use a notepad to do it. During this lesson we are also writing web applications like internet shops. Its not easy to do it because it must be easy in use and free of bugs. We use data bases to store informations for example about customers and products. On "Internet Applications" I have learned many new things.

Network commands

I´d like to share with you some of the simple network commands that my student learn and that i think must be known by all ICT teachers.

TCP/IP

The Internet protocols are the world's most popular open-system (nonproprietary) protocol suite because they can be used to communicate across any set of interconnected networks and are equally well suited for LAN and WAN communications. The Internet protocols consist of a suite of communication protocols, of which the two best known are the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and the Internet Protocol (IP).

Thanks to Vinton Cerf and Robert Kahn that invented these protocols we can communicate!!

These are contents that my students learn. The only diference is that i teach them in portuguese.
